A very popular speciality is the one-day PADI Enriched Air Diver course, which allows you to dive with EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox) mixture.
In the course, you will learn with us in Hurghada in Egypt to safely use EAN breathing mixtures with an oxygen content of up to 40%. You will learn the correct analysis and planning of a dive with a given mixture. Nitrox may make you feel more fresh after diving, as others have shown. It can also help you stay longer underwater. It will certainly extend your no-decompression time limits or shorten your surface intervals. But Nitrox also has its limitations, it limits your depth. Nitrox mixtures are optimal for dives to depths of 25 - 30 meters. The course includes not only theory, but also practical application, 2 dives with Nitrox. The price includes 2 tanks with nitrox.
Advantages of breathing Nitrox underwater:
- You will have longer no-decompression limits or shorter surface intervals.
- You plan to do more dives, three or four, per day, for example on a dive safari.
- You may feel less tired doing same dives as you would do with air because of less nitrogen in your tissues.
A typical schedule of Nitrox course:
In 1 day you will do two dives on Nitrox and learn the theory. There is also exam to pass.
